The “Light of Dreams” Association was founded upon the belief in every person’s ability to evolve and to integrate into Israeli society as a citizen with equal rights, regardless of the personal challenges they must face.
The association aims to provide at-risk children and youth, children in special
education and individuals with disabilities, the opportunity to develop knowledge and life skills. By doing so, it seeks to bridge the gap between their limitations and their potential, enabling them to lead independent lives and integrate optimally into Israeli society and the job market.
The Association was established in order to fund and facilitate needs and activities aligned with its vision, which are not covered by governmental budgets.
In accordance with this vision, the Association’s objectives, as defined in registration certificate, are:
- Raising resources for activities that support vulnerable populations.
- Providing support and assistance for at-risk boys and girls.
- Offering support and assistance to individuals with intellectual, autism-related,
physical and developmental disabilities. - Advocating for relevant legislation and public policy through parliamentary and
public engagement.
The Association focuses on at-risk youth in post-hospitalization and therapeutic boarding schools, as well as students in special education institutions, including those with autism and mental health challenges.
Additionally, it supports individuals with disabilities, including children and adults on the autism spectrum or with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
